Children who enter Basic 1 from our KG programme already have four or more years of French behind them. For new entrants, structured catch-up support is provided wherever it is needed.
By Basic 6, Storyville students can:

Every STEM project is hands-on. Children are given a problem, not a solution. They build, test, and explain.
Building, sorting, measuring and experimenting with real materials. Children learn that problems can be figured out.
Applied problem-solving, basic computing and data collection. Students present projects to peers — confidence and knowledge together.
Rapid numerical processing, built from the ground up — the same discipline that sharpens STEM thinking.
Hold a real conversation in French.
Approach any problem and find a way through it.
Present an argument to a room with confidence.
Transfer students welcome throughout the year, subject to space.
“My son transferred in Basic 3. Within two terms he was reading better, his Maths had improved, and he had started French from scratch — and was keeping up.”
“The STEM projects made him excited about school in a way he had never been before. He comes home asking questions now.”
Visit the classrooms. Watch a STEM session. Ask the French teacher what your child will be able to do by the end of the first term.
