About Storyville

We built Storyville because children in Ghana deserve more.

More than rote learning. More than exam preparation. More than a school that forgets their name by Week 3.

Free visit. No commitment.

The Storyville community
How Storyville began

Built on one belief: every child can excel when the school knows who they are.

Storyville School was founded in Gumani, Tamale, with a simple but powerful belief — that children learn best when they are known, nurtured, and challenged at the same time.

From the beginning, the school committed to two things no other school in the area was offering together: French language development from the very first year, and practical STEM education that teaches children to think — not just to repeat.

Today, Storyville serves families across Ghana who want more than a certificate for their child. They want a foundation.

School life

What we stand for

Six values that shape every classroom, every day.

Passion for excellence

We hold high standards because your child is capable of meeting them.

Commitment and integrity

We do what we say. Every day, without exception.

Teamwork

Children learn that how you work with others matters as much as what you know.

Innovativeness

Problems are not obstacles here. They are invitations to think.

Respect for the individual

Every child is different. We teach to the child, not to the class.

Inclusiveness and tolerance

Every background, every pace, every child — welcome.

A space built for learning

Real classrooms, real facilities, a real school community.
